Supporting the development of a vendor-management architecture for the launch of a 5G network

Challenges:
1. Launch of the first open-RAN 5G network in Europe and the first major grass-roots network launch in Germany for the last decades
2. Large deployment required careful consideration of supporting vendors and the integration between them and the client company for effective operation of the new network
3. System architecture between client and chosen vendor needed to be aligned from technological, data, service, business, and regulatory perspectives

Idea:
1. Management support for the service architecture of the external vendor
2. Review and validation of vendor management concepts
3. Optimization of the chosen vendor's system architecture in line with client business requirements

Objective:
Support of the service architecture for an external vendor solution as part of the development of a new open-RAN 5G telecommunications network.

Solution:
1. Integration of all customer requirements in the target systems architecture
2. Conceptual assurance of a resilient, scalable, and accessible service architecture for the external vendor
