Optimizing collaboration between several major European Telecommunication services providers

Challenge:
1. The EU Commission was concerned that the takeover of a large cable operator by our client, a leading Telco, would result in an unfair competitive advantage
2. Our client had to allow another telecommunications company access to the cable network through a wholesale deal

Idea:
Prepare, launch, and optimize access to the cable network for a leading German Telco.

Objective:
Through the cooperation, the Telco would supply up to 24 million cable households in Germany.

Results:
1. Developed necessary aspects required to enable the new collaboration and to enable the German Telco to control access and distribution of shared products at a cost benefit.
2. Implemented three new interfaces for the Client Telco: real-time availability check; cable-adapted S/PRI interface for ordering, activation, troubleshooting, and changes; MAC address interface for authenticating customers based on CPEs
3. Changed and/or developed processes for activation, deactivation, billing, CPE provision/delivery, etc. along the customer journey, including upholding of legal requirements (e.g., product information)
