Description
As a Specialist for Cryptographic Services (m/f/d) with a focus on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Cryptography, you will support the planning, implementation, continuous development, and operation of enterprise-grade PKI and cryptographic solutions.
You will play a key role in advancing certificate lifecycle automation, secrets management, and cryptographic governance, while advising internal and external stakeholders on the secure and correct use of certificates, keys, and secrets. The role is positioned in a highly regulated security environment, requiring deep cryptographic expertise and a structured, analytical mindset.

Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Cyber Security, or a comparable qualification (or equivalent professional experience)
At least 5 years of experience in the cyber security domain, preferably in financial services or other highly regulated industries
Strong hands-on experience with: Public Key Infrastructure (PKI); Key Management Systems (KMS) and/or Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
Deep understanding of modern cryptography, including common cryptographic algorithms and protocols, current standards and recommendations (e.g. BSI TR-02102, NIST)
Structured, analytical working style combined with an outcome-oriented, agile mindset
Initial experience in technical or functional leadership is an advantage
Nice-to-Have / Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following technologies:

Knowledge or hands-on experience with Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)
Experience with PQC migration strategies
Experience building or operating a crypto inventory / cryptographic asset register
Responsibilities
Support the planning, implementation, further development, and operational management of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and cryptographic services
Drive the automation of certificate lifecycle management, including issuance, renewal, revocation, and monitoring
Advise internal and external stakeholders on the correct and secure use of certificates, cryptographic keys, and secrets
Contribute to the design, implementation, and evolution of a cryptographic register / crypto inventory for internal use and for customers
Support and implement additional use cases for secrets management systems
Ensure cryptographic solutions comply with current standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements
Participate in the continuous improvement of cryptographic architectures, processes, and governance models
