Description

As a Microsoft BI Developer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the design, development, and operation of modern Business Intelligence and data analytics solutions based on the Microsoft technology stack.


You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to transform complex data into reliable, performant, and actionable insights, supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.


The role combines hands-on data engineering, advanced reporting, and DevOps-oriented delivery, covering the full lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment and optimization.

Requirements


Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in developing and managing complex ETL processes utilizing Microsoft technologies (SSIS, Synapse) and cloud tools (Databricks, Oracle)

  • Advanced report design and development using SSRS and Power BI

  • Experience developing SSAS cubes and writing MDX/DAX queries

  • Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning

  • Strong knowledge of DevOps tools (Azure DevOps) to integrate CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform)

  • Strong knowledge of Version control systems (Microsoft TFS, git) and branching strategies

  • Strong communication skills for gathering requirements and presenting solutions

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Strong Problem-solving skills

  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications

  • Proficient in data modeling and data warehousing concepts

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

  • Strong knowledge of agile project methods


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL processes using Microsoft technologies such as: SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); Azure Synapse Analytics; Cloud-based tools, including Databricks and Oracle

  • Design and develop advanced reports and dashboards using: SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); Power BI

  • Develop and maintain SSAS cubes, including writing and optimizing MDX and DAX queries

  • Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries to ensure high performance and scalability

  • Design and maintain data models and data warehouse structures aligned with business requirements

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and BI solutions

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform

  • Manage source code using version control systems (TFS, Git), including branching and release strategies

  • Collaborate closely with business users, data engineers, architects, and DevOps teams

  • Support and operate BI solutions in production, including troubleshooting and performance optimization

  • Contribute to agile delivery processes, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Communicate technical concepts and BI solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
